DAY 1: FRIDAY ~ ACCRA/ELMINA
Group will depart Accra for the Central Region. Places of interest to explore will include the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by the British in 1665. You will also visit the Kakum National Park which is a virgin forest spanning 357km2. It boast of the only Canopy Walkway in Africa, which offers an excellent walking tour through the forest to see much of Ghana’s indigenous plant life, which has medicinal as well as socio-cultural values. The day will end at Elmina where you will visit the Ft. St. Georges Castle which is the oldest European building in Sub-Sahara Africa and one of the largest slave dungeons in the world; it was built by the Portuguese in 1482.Overnight at the Coconut Grove Beach Resort
 
DAY 2: SATURDAY ~ ELMINA/NZULEZO/BUSIA
Depart Elmina for the Western Region of Ghana where you will visit the Ankasa Reserve and the Nzulezo village on stilts. This community lives almost entirely on the water having a classroom, bars, restaurants and other amenities. History has it that the village was founded many years back to evade capture by slave traders. After a brief tour of the Fort Appolonia, you will drive to Busia, which boast of one of the finest beaches in Ghana. Overnight Busia Beach Resort
 
DAY 3: SUNDAY ~ BUSIA/ACCRA
Group will depart Busia for Accra via Takoradi for a brief sightseeing of the Western Region’s capital. Continue to Accra after lunch arriving late afternoon. .
