Depart Accra for historic Elmina. Visit places such as the traditional shrines, oldest church in Ghana, 18th century Dutch cemetery, old and new Elmina Township etc. Also visit the Ft. St. Georges Castle built by the Portuguese in 1482 and believed to have been visited by Christopher Columbus en route to the New Worlds. It is one of two largest slave forts in the world.   
You will also visit the Kakum National Park where you have the opportunity to hike up the only Canopy Walkway in Africa or opt to learn about the medicinal value of the trees on a trail. You will continue to Cape Coast Castle built by the British in 1665.  Return to Accra avfter the tours.
