4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS TOUR OF GHANA
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Upon arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel.  
Overnight 
DAY 2: ACCRA/KAKUM/ACCRA
After breakfast depart Accra for the Central Region. Places of interest to explore will include the Cape Coast Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site built by the British in 1665. You will also visit the Kakum National Park which is a virgin forest spanning 357km2 and boasts of the only Canopy Walkway in Africa. The day will end at Elmina where you will visit the Ft. St. Georges Castle which is the oldest European building in Sub-Sahara Africa and the largest slave dungeon in the world; it was built by the Portuguese in 1482. Return to Accra after tours.
Overnight 
DAY 3: ACCRA/ABURI/AKOSOMBO/ACCRA
Visit the mountainous regions of Akwapim to see the Aburi Botanical Gardens established by the British in 1890 as a sanitarium. It has a lot of rare tropical plants with some having been planted by some world figures such as Queen Elizabeth. Group will continue to Akosombo where Ghana’s hydroelectric power plant is for further tours. Return to Accra after tours. 
Overnight 
DAY 4: ACCRA CITY TOUR/DEPARTURE
The family will immerse themselves in the life of the city on an educational tour to the memorial site of Ghana’s first president and the African of the 20th century, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and the WEB Dubois Centre. Other historic and interesting sites of the city will be explored on this tour. Group will be transferred to the airport later to catch their departure flight.
